About the Business
PEAK Health & Wellness Center Downtown is a full-service gym on East Spruce Street in downtown Missoula. The club combines cardio, strength, and functional-training areas with more than 60 weekly group classes, personal and small-group coaching, Pilates and CoreAlign sessions, and locker-room recovery amenities in a central, walkable location.
The Downtown club occupies a 1930s industrial and commercial building formerly used by Artcraft Printers. Downtown Missoula records list the PEAK project as a $3.5 million gymnasium completed in 2012, while a City of Missoula preservation release describes the historic-tax-credit adaptive reuse as taking place in 2013. The project brought an older downtown building back into active use as a health club.
Current amenities include treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, free weights, resistance machines, TRX equipment, battle ropes, plyometric boxes, and agility ladders. Three studios support Les Mills programs, cycling, Oula, freestyle strength and interval formats, SilverSneakers, yoga, mat Pilates, and other mind-and-body classes. The facility also lists a steam room, dry sauna, and juice bar.
Day passes include facility access and scheduled group fitness and yoga or Pilates classes. Personal training, small-group training, and Pilates or CoreAlign coaching cost extra. PEAK’s six-lane pool is at the Blue Mountain location, not Downtown, and children under 14 are not permitted at the Downtown club.
